Vauxhall at VRI Gap Insurance

Vauxhall at VRI Gap Insurance

The Vauxhall brand is one of the biggest brands and most popular brands within the UK. The Vauxhall brand has been a regular sight on the roads of the UK for quite sometime, however, we at VRI Gap Insurance believe that the majority of Vauxhall models are driving around the roads of the UK without no Gap protection.

We at VRI Gap Insurance have recently completed a post on Ford and the need for Gap Insurance and used the latest Ford Focus ST in our examples. However, this time round we are going to use the Vauxhall Astra in our example for Gap Insurance.

How can Gap Insurance help you and your Vauxhall?

The Vauxhall Astra model is currently one of the best selling vehicles in the UK and we would like to use this model in our example. Gap insurance is of course a form of financial protection and will look to protect your vehicle from the effects of market value depreciation.

Market value depreciation is the level at which your vehicle will lose value over the course of ownership. According to market trade experts this could be as much as half of the value of your Vauxhall Astra on the day of purchase. Meaning that if you have purchased a Vauxhall Astra for somewhere in the region of £18,000 then three years later the vehicle will only be worth somewhere in the region of £9,000.

This is where Gap Insurance can help you and your Astra. Return to Invoice Gap Insurance will cover the £9,000 difference between the market value and the original invoice price that you paid for the Vauxhall Astra.

VRI Gap Insurance will act in a similar way to that of Return to Invoice Gap Insurance and will pay the difference between the market value of your Astra on the day it was written off or stolen and the average cost to replace the vehicle with the same make, model and mileage etc as yours was on the day of purchase. So, why take the risk when you can protect your Vauxhall today with a Gap Insurance policy online.
